Only a few companies in the world produce chlorobenzene. Kureha, the only producer in Japan, sells chlorobenzene products domestically and abroad. Chlorobenzene is used in the manufacture of pharmaceuticals and agrochemicals, as well as in dyes and pigments. It is in strong demand as a raw material for insect repellents and PPS resins, and is found in wide range of fields, from daily necessities to commercial applications.
