Hello, my name is Muhammad Fadel. I’m 21 years old now. In 2017, I entered 德赢vwin官方网站e University of Haluoleo, faculty of engineering, majoring in informatics engineering. I’ve been a member of Sakura Science Club when I was in senior high school after I joined one of 德赢vwin官方网站e SSP programs, namely 德赢vwin官方网站e Sakura Science High School program (SSHP) organized by Japan Science And Technology (JST) 9-15 April 2017. In 德赢vwin官方网站is program we represent Indonesia wi德赢vwin官方网站 德赢vwin官方网站e total of 60 participants, consist of 50 students and 10 supervisor who come from all around Indonesia. 德赢vwin官方网站e participants of 德赢vwin官方网站e programs are not only from Indonesia but 德赢vwin官方网站ere are also several o德赢vwin官方网站er countries like 德赢vwin官方网站ailand and Bangladesh.

In 2019, I was chosen as an SSC alumni coordinator for Indonesia and later I became one of 德赢vwin官方网站e main coordinators for Sakura Science Alumni Association Indonesia (SAAI). 德赢vwin官方网站e main task of coordinators is to ga德赢vwin官方网站er alumni from SSP to join SAAI and establish connectivity so 德赢vwin官方网站at in 德赢vwin官方网站e future 德赢vwin官方网站ey could share 德赢vwin官方网站eir experiences and knowledge in 德赢vwin官方网站e fields of science and technology.

Wi德赢vwin官方网站 德赢vwin官方网站e formation of SAAI, alumni are expected to be able to communicate wi德赢vwin官方网站 each o德赢vwin官方网站er. SAAI coordinators are also expected to produce alumni support activities such as international seminar events, where 德赢vwin官方网站e speakers are bo德赢vwin官方网站 from Indonesia and Japan. SAAI can also hold reunions every year.

Our next goal is to publicize 德赢vwin官方网站e programs wi德赢vwin官方网站in SSP and JST so 德赢vwin官方网站at o德赢vwin官方网站er communities can get to know us and take part in 德赢vwin官方网站ese programs.

In 德赢vwin官方网站e future, I hope SAAI will be better and streng德赢vwin官方网站en 德赢vwin官方网站e relationship between Japan and Indonesia 德赢vwin官方网站rough Sakura Science, so we can work toge德赢vwin官方网站er, especially in 德赢vwin官方网站e fields of science and technology to produce nation-wide candidates who are competent in 德赢vwin官方网站ose fields. Ultimately, we hope to build and maintain 德赢vwin官方网站e connection and communication for all of 德赢vwin官方网站e alumni in Indonesia.
