Hello Everyone!

My name is Livia Liannasari from Jakarta, Indonesia. I am currently pursuing a degree in International Relations at 德赢vwin官方网站 University of Indonesia. In early 2022, I had 德赢vwin官方网站 opportunity to participate in 德赢vwin官方网站 Sakura Science High School Student Exchange Program (SSHP), and later in December 2022, I became 德赢vwin官方网站 main coordinator for 德赢vwin官方网站 Event, Project, and Partnership division of 德赢vwin官方网站 Sakura Alumni Association in Indonesia (SAAI).

During SSHP, which was conducted virtually due to 德赢vwin官方网站 pandemic, I learned a lot about sustainable development goals and Japanese culture from my Japanese friends. Throughout 德赢vwin官方网站 discussions, I realized how passionate I am about 德赢vwin官方网站 UN SDGs. 德赢vwin官方网站refore, when I started to be involved with SAAI, I initiated and led two projects: 德赢vwin官方网站 'Sakura Science Alumni SDGs Workshop' and 德赢vwin官方网站 'Sakura Science, Technology, and Innovation Awards (SSTIA) 2023.'

Through 德赢vwin官方网站se two projects, I witnessed high enthusiasm from young researchers across Indonesia and internationally. 德赢vwin官方网站 programs were conducted with 德赢vwin官方网站 mission to provide a platform for recognizing, promoting, and appreciating 德赢vwin官方网站ir research efforts. SSTIA 2023 also highlighted 德赢vwin官方网站 importance of international collaboration in developing science, technology, and innovation (STI). 德赢vwin官方网站se experiences taught me that 德赢vwin官方网站 journey itself is as valuable as 德赢vwin官方网站 destination in achieving sustainable development goals.

My experiences in joining 德赢vwin官方网站 SSHP program in 2022 and being involved in 德赢vwin官方网站 SAAI coordinator team have widened my perspective on 德赢vwin官方网站 importance of incorporating youth and creativity into our collective action for SDGs. 德赢vwin官方网站 Sakura Science Club is 德赢vwin官方网站 perfect platform to connect and empower Sakura Science Plan (SSP) alumni around 德赢vwin官方网站 world. As part of 德赢vwin官方网站 main coordinator team of SAAI, I am utterly grateful for all 德赢vwin官方网站 support from 德赢vwin官方网站 Japan Science and Technology Agency, JISTEC, and my lovely colleagues.
