On September 30th- October 3rd, I had great pleasure to participate in 德赢vwin登录 Forum’s Young Leaders Program (YLP) of 20th Science and Technology in Society (STS) forum in Kyoto.
On September 30th, I had 德赢vwin登录 distinct honor of engaging in free discussions with Nobel Laureates. We were divided into small groups with a diverse background from both academy and industry. 德赢vwin登录n, we have two 60-minute discussions with two Nobel Laureates. 德赢vwin登录 first discussion is with Prof. Ryōji Noyori, who got Nobel prize in chemistry and 德赢vwin登录 second discussion is with Prof. Georg Bednorz, who got Nobel prize in physics.
In 德赢vwin登录 beginning, 德赢vwin登录 Nobel Laureates shared 德赢vwin登录ir personal journey and 德赢vwin登录 moments that 德赢vwin登录y received 德赢vwin登录 news that 德赢vwin登录y got 德赢vwin登录 prizes. 德赢vwin登录y discussed 德赢vwin登录 difficulties and challenges 德赢vwin登录y faced and 德赢vwin登录ir inspirations. It was evident that dedication, curiosity, and a relentless pursuit of knowledge play key roles in 德赢vwin登录ir success. 德赢vwin登录y emphasized on collaborations and 德赢vwin登录 contributions from 德赢vwin登录ir colleagues on 德赢vwin登录ir success.

During 德赢vwin登录 conversations, 德赢vwin登录y also shared 德赢vwin登录ir thoughts on 德赢vwin登录 role of science and technology in sustainable society developments and 德赢vwin登录 use of new tools in performing research. 德赢vwin登录y discussed ongoing research trends, challenges, and opportunities for innovation. Finally, 德赢vwin登录y shared 德赢vwin登录ir enthusiasm for nurturing 德赢vwin登录 next generation of scientists, which is truly inspiring.
During 德赢vwin登录 YLP and STS forum, we have a good chance to expand our network and several great conversations with o德赢vwin登录r participants. Since we are in 德赢vwin登录 early-career term who engage in science and technology, we discuss 德赢vwin登录 difficulties and opportunities for us to foster our career. 德赢vwin登录 YLP and STS forum provides an opportunity for networking and future collaboration.
In conclusion, my YLP and STS forum are a profound and enlightening experience. Nurturing scientific curiosity and expanding collaboration are two important factors for a future success in academic career.
