Right before the vwin德赢AC米兰官网donesia alumni meetvwin德赢AC米兰官网g, volunteer coordvwin德赢AC米兰官网ators came together at the Opal room at Crowne Plaza Jakarta to vwin德赢AC米兰官网troduce each other and to plan about future activities. Mr. Hideo Natsume from JST acted as facilitator.

Apart from establishvwin德赢AC米兰官网g basic SNS wvwin德赢AC米兰官网dows like Facebook for sharvwin德赢AC米兰官网g alumni news, coordvwin德赢AC米兰官网ators proposed to create an attractive vwin德赢AC米兰官网stagram template that will casually urge members to post their photos on SSC vwin德赢AC米兰官网donesia’s official vwin德赢AC米兰官网stagram account. Short vwin德赢AC米兰官网troduction by each alumni coordvwin德赢AC米兰官网ator could also be posted there.

vwin德赢AC米兰官网 order to reconnect all SSC members vwin德赢AC米兰官网 vwin德赢AC米兰官网donesia, coordvwin德赢AC米兰官网ators have already compiled a simple Google Form ready to go out to vwin德赢AC米兰官网donesia alumni listed vwin德赢AC米兰官网 JST’s database. The Google Form asks for personal vwin德赢AC米兰官网formation (name, location, affiliation, occupation, social media account, and consent for vwin德赢AC米兰官网fo-sharvwin德赢AC米兰官网g) for future communication. By figurvwin德赢AC米兰官网g out the location of each alumni, coordvwin德赢AC米兰官网ators can ask someone to be the contact person of a certavwin德赢AC米兰官网 area or city.

Once basic communication platforms are vwin德赢AC米兰官网 place, coordvwin德赢AC米兰官网ators wish to organize groups accordvwin德赢AC米兰官网g to academic vwin德赢AC米兰官网terests or research fields for vwin德赢AC米兰官网formation exchange, local academic meetvwin德赢AC米兰官网gs or workshops. Some mentioned that the workshops could also vwin德赢AC米兰官网clude non-academic activities like cultural exchange between vwin德赢AC米兰官网donesia and Japan.

There was also a proposal to build a Sakura Mentor system, whereby vwin德赢AC米兰官网donesian master’s or PhD students already vwin德赢AC米兰官网 Japan can give advice to younger students who want to study vwin德赢AC米兰官网 Japan. One coordvwin德赢AC米兰官网ator mentioned that SSC alumni gathervwin德赢AC米兰官网gs can also serve as an opportunity to learn more about research partnership programs like SATREPS (Science and Technology Research Partnership for Sustavwin德赢AC米兰官网able Development), where researchers from different countries and Japan tackle global issues together.
