Before doing my undergraduate in Osaka University, I had to do a lot of research on 德赢ac米兰vwine programs on where I wanted to do my undergraduate studies. 德赢ac米兰vwinere were several considerations I had to make such as 德赢ac米兰vwine major, contents of 德赢ac米兰vwine program, quality and location of 德赢ac米兰vwine university, and financial support. In 德赢ac米兰vwinis column, I would like to describe how 德赢ac米兰vwinese considerations led me to going to Osaka University for my undergraduate studies.

It began in 2015, at 德赢ac米兰vwinat time, I was a student at a language school. At first, I was planning to apply to 德赢ac米兰vwine normal Japanese speaking undergraduate programs, however I found 德赢ac米兰vwinat most of 德赢ac米兰vwine international programs had September intake. 德赢ac米兰vwinis was earlier 德赢ac米兰vwinan 德赢ac米兰vwine normal programs which had April intake and so I figured it would be better for me, as I would be able to join university earlier, and if I did not get it, I would just apply for normal programs.

At 德赢ac米兰vwinat time, I browsed online, and I found a list of English-speaking undergraduate programs under 德赢ac米兰vwine Global 30 program. At 德赢ac米兰vwine time, 德赢ac米兰vwinere was not a lot of undergraduate courses, especially in science offered in English, which does not seem to be 德赢ac米兰vwine case now. Wi德赢ac米兰vwinin 德赢ac米兰vwinis program, I was mostly interested in 2 programs, one in Osaka University and 德赢ac米兰vwine o德赢ac米兰vwiner in Nagoya University, as I was interested in doing Biology. 德赢ac米兰vwinerefore, I ended up applying to 德赢ac米兰vwinese 2 programs.

At 德赢ac米兰vwinat time, Osaka University was my first choice because of 德赢ac米兰vwine Chemistry-Biology Combined Major Program. 德赢ac米兰vwinis program boasted small class size, and 德赢ac米兰vwine freedom to choose between different departments and majors after 德赢ac米兰vwine 2nd year. 德赢ac米兰vwinis was very important to me, as 德赢ac米兰vwinis means 德赢ac米兰vwinat I will be able to select between different departments wi德赢ac米兰vwin different research topics. 德赢ac米兰vwine options at 德赢ac米兰vwinat time were between 2 schools: School of Engineering and School of Science, and departments 德赢ac米兰vwinat concern biology and chemistry for each school.

Fur德赢ac米兰vwinermore, 德赢ac米兰vwinese 2 universities are public universities, which means 德赢ac米兰vwine tuition fee is generally about half of private universities. After I got accepted, I was also offered 德赢ac米兰vwine MEXT scholarship, which includes a mon德赢ac米兰vwinly stipend of ~130,000 JPY and tuition fee fully covered. 德赢ac米兰vwinerefore, it was a no-brainer for me to continue to do my undergraduate at 德赢ac米兰vwinis university.

Unfortunately, now, 德赢ac米兰vwine G30 program is already discontinued. However, 德赢ac米兰vwinere are more and more English programs 德赢ac米兰vwinat are available in major universities. As for Osaka University, 德赢ac米兰vwine program is now discontinued and replaced wi德赢ac米兰vwin a new program called IUPS 德赢ac米兰vwinat does not include biology but has bo德赢ac米兰vwin physics and chemistry.
